About This Site

Finding someone in custody in Gadsden County is rarely as simple as one search. The person could be in the county jail, in a state prison inside the county, or in a federal or immigration system entirely. We built this site to pull those rosters, locators, and office contacts into one plain-language place, so a worried family member is not left guessing which agency to call first.

Why This Site Exists

Florida treats most jail and inmate information as public. The hard part is not access. It is knowing which system holds the person. The county sheriff runs the local jail roster for people who were arrested and are waiting for court or serving short county time. The Florida Department of Corrections runs a separate locator for sentenced state prisoners. Federal and immigration detainees show up in still other systems. We gather those rosters, locators, contact numbers, visitation notes, and request steps so the right path is easy to find on the first try.

What You Will Find Here

The pages are built around the questions people actually ask after an arrest.

  • Help looking someone up, with guides for jail inmate records, jail roster mugshots, and court records after a jail arrest.
  • A page for each detention facility in Gadsden County, with the address, phone, and visitation notes for that place.
  • Step-by-step help for the county jail roster and for the statewide inmate locator used after sentencing.
  • How to request a booking record or photo from the sheriff, and what kind of response time to expect.

What This Site Cannot Do

We want to be plain about the limits. This is a privately run reference site. It has no link to the Gadsden County Sheriff's Office, any Florida jail or corrections department, or any other government agency.

  • We cannot release, hold, or transfer anyone in custody.
  • We cannot post bond, set up a visit, or send money for you.
  • We cannot give legal advice.
  • We cannot promise that every phone number, fee, or address stays current.

Only the sheriff's office or the corrections department can confirm a current custody status, the charges, or a release. We can point you to the right roster, but the official answer always comes from them.

Search Partners

Some pages include search boxes powered by outside providers, and those companies set their own prices. When one of those tools leads to a paid signup, this site may earn a referral fee, which is what keeps the pages free to read. We do not control how those partner tools price their service or what results they return, and using them is always optional.
